
Navajo artist Ed Natiya captures the spirit of Indigenous peoples with authenticity and reverence. Guided by a deep respect for ancestral wisdom and the enduring strength of Native traditions, his sculptures radiate life, love, and beauty—speaking across generations. Through his art, Natiya elegantly brings to life the history, values, and stories of Native communities, ensuring that their voices and teachings continue to inspire for years to come.
Natiya’s work is represented in galleries, museums, and universities across the United States. He has been widely recognized for his powerful depictions of Native American culture and history, receiving numerous awards throughout his career. Notable honors include Best of Class – Sculpture Overall at the 2016 Santa Fe Indian Market, the Patron’s Choice Award at the 2024 Night of Artists Show at the Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio, and the 2025 James Bowie Award for Sculpture from the Briscoe.
Today, Natiya works as a full-time sculptor in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he lives with his wife, Jayme.
